On the 3rd our very own John Aldrick is going to take us through the various stages of etched coach construction. I have seen John’s work at the small working sessions organised by Edward Sissling and Nick Mitchell and it is fair to say the models are very impressive. John has been working on a number of these coaches for a while now and he purposely has only taken a few of them anywhere near completion precisely because I asked him if he would do this demonstration for us so thanks to John for that. I will not steal his thunder but suffice to say this is a meeting not to be missed if you:-
a) ever wanted to have a go at etched coaching stock and didn’t know where to start or,
b) want to see some extremely tidy modelling which are the result of John’s labours.
I hope to see as many of you as possible on the day.…!
